[160m] New Guy

Hello All, 

I am Mike Harrison, KE0ZU in Liberty, Missouri a suburb of Kansas 
City.  

Although I've been licensed off and on since 1953, I have never had 
any interest in 160 until recently when I read a piece regarding the 
use of older broadcast equipment on the band.  This interests me as I'm 
a boat anchor kinda guy.  

The only  antenna I currently have is a 40m dipole and would like to 
put something up specifically for 160.  At this wavelength is the 
dipole the most common option?  What other types of antenna are popular 
for 160?   Am I correct in presuming the options are all, wire 
antennas?

Although I'm looking, I don't have a transmitter for 160 but I do have 
an HRO-60 and an NC-300 for receivers.
