[160m] RG6 & F connectors

I'm considering a phased array system that uses RG6.  A natural connector would be a type "F" connection.  Two questions:

How much power would I dare run through the RG6.  RG6 is 75 ohm, AL foil with AL braid.

The UHF guys tell me they run 1KW+ through F connections.  Is this reasonable?

Although I do not anticipating running 1.5KW on Topband, running a KW through this system would be nice.  At what point does the whole thing become a 'fuse?'
