Just a post:

I see a lot about L-antenna's.
Here is what I use.

It's a full size sort of rectangular loop vertical mounted.(it has not
really the figure of a rectangular but don't know how to discribe the
figure)
The top-wire goes up from 10 meters to 18 and 16 meters.
Then it comes down both sides and connect over a hight of about 2,5 meters.
I feed the loop with 450 ohms twinlead halfway the 16 meter high post.
Using an analyser it showed 200 ohms and swr of 1:2.

It works really fantastic and already worked lots of DX like
VK,JT,VP5,C5,9L,TI,CO,YV,USA etc.
All this is done with only 100 watts and no cw-filters.

It seems a pretty good/quite antenna.

Just for youre interest!!

Greetings pa3gvi/Rob
