Hi JV, 

Hope your heart is on the mend nowb after the operation! 

Don't bother adding any radialsfor 160, unless you can make them 
longer!! 

Once the system is beyond 40-50 1/4 wl radials, the curve gets very 
flat. More ground probably couldn't squeeze another 1/2 db out of the 
system, unless the radials were really long.

The electrical rule is simple. Once the largest spacing between wires 
(that would be at the open ends) is between .05 and .025 wavelengths, 
the radial system looks electrically like a solid of copper sheet.

For 160 meters, that would be .025 times about 500 feet or around 
12.5 feet at the open ends of the wires.

I follow that guideline here when I install radials.
