Hi Karl,

Verticals or Inverted L's are a very good antenna on 160 if you can 
get a reasonable ground system installed, especially of you want to 
work any distance over a few hundred miles.

Dipoles or Inverted Vee Dipoles are simple and easy if you want to 
mainly work short distances, and you can work very long distances 
with them if conditions are good.
