Hi Kurt,
The old Radio Shack part number for a 102-inch fiberglass whip was: 210-0905. A check of their website displays the following from 2005:

210-0905 102 FIBERGLASS WHIP Faxback Doc. # 21412

To order parts call 1-800-843-7422 or visit your local RadioShack store.

However, in the Marine Radio industry the 96-inch whip is still used in several configurations.

Top section of 2-30 MHz HF Whips & Loran-C Whips

A quick Google.com search of these sources reveils that Shakespear still manufacturers a Model #103 for Loran-C use. 96 Inches long,

I hope this is helpful.

ATTENTION AR24 & AR29 LIST MEMBERS:
-------------------------------------

Does anyone know a current source of the 8-foot long fiberglass whips to help Kurt [KD7JYK] out?
These are the same type seen on the old CB days.

Used to be I could find the 1/4 wave CB whip antennas in fiberglass most
everywhere.

Now, a couple of hours on the web brings up nothing.

Are these still made?

Anyone know of any sources?

Kurt
