[10m] test as well and 10m open?

I don't seem to get all of the posts, anyone else have that problem?  Anyway about the question a few days ago about when is 10m going to open.  Well it is open more than one thinks but not always open to every area.  I call cq daily on 28.400, if it is open some one will answer as most die hard 10m stations monitor 28.4 .  Another freq is 29.6 fm as that is often monitored by the same hard core 10 folks because it can be programmed into any plain old scanner and is the fm calling freq as 28.4 os the usb calling freq.  Although I too often use the "open" band for monitoring ( ONLY) to see if 10 is going to have a chance it seems just as easy to slip over to 28.4 and call CQ ..if they hear you..they will talk to you.  If we all just sat and listened and no one called cq or talked..the band might as well be dead..Call cq even if you hear nothing going on...might surprised ya what hears ya.
