   Could easily be wrong on this but isn't there a cutoff frequency after
which the signals go through the clouds and never return?   And, wouldn't
that make it too fickle for reliable 10 or 6 meter communication?   Hope
someone knows the answer on this one as it is a really intriguing antenna
concept.
