The HTX-10 can generate a subaudible tone (apparently fixed at
88.5 Hz) if you use FUNC-4 (LCR).  This combination causes a 
RPT legend to appear on the LCD.  This doesn't seem to be in the
manual, or even labeled on the button, but it does appear on
the button in the box photograph.

There is no internal tone decoder.
