I have used the G5RV antenna for many years now. It has allowed me to
win several contest, put DXCC +168 countries on the wall, I nearly have
a 5BWAS and most of this was done at QRP levels. I wouldn't trade my two
G5RV antennas for much of anything at this point.

I used a G5RV for many years on 75 & 40 meters with great results. I'd
keep it. You can change the resonance points by adjusting the stub
length.
