Hi All,

I am trying to get my up and down buttons to move the vfo frequency on my Yaesu FT1000MP but they do not seem to work. The fast button does work OK.

I am using a Yaesu MH-31B8 hand mic.

I think that you need to clean the contacts of the corresponding buttons

Hi Dmitry,

I have tested continuity with multi meter for both up and down button pinouts on the mic female connector and the buttons show continuity when pressed and no continuity when released.

It doesn?t seem to work for me. Maybe I have an older version (firmware) of radio. My FT1000MP was built in 1997.
