Fellow FT-1000 users, this radio is surplus to my needs and and as an "above-standard" eBay seller I will be placing this ad (slightly modified) on eBay soon.  Please pass along to others who might be interested (club members,etc.)  Thanks for the help.
FT-1000 MP HF radio is for  the ham contester or DXer who wants a classic radio with 2nd receiver stereo.  Has dual filter banks enabling performance of today's top radios costing much more. Functions needed to operate are all on the front panel WITHOUT need to access menus.  Complete with Roofing Filter plus 2 banks of select-able filters (not sold separately, see below), Heil boom mike adapter,  amp interface cable, manuals and operating aids, original box, non smoker, no pets.  Serial # 6K150010.  More than  $640 worth of  filters:  INRAD Roofing filter; Yaesu 500 Hz; INRAD #701 400 Hz 8MHz;  #703 400 Hz 455kHz;  #709 2100 Hz 8 Mhz;  #702 2100 Hz 455KHz. Only issues are partially worn paint on A-B button and  intermittent in the audio contour circuit (unused by most owners).  However,  I will supply both a plug-in twin board audio tailoring replacement module from an eBay 100% rated Yaesu parts reseller and an external Radio Shack audio DSP unit with the radio. To ship, $100-$150 in double box and insure (less if by bus). But I will deliver (or meet 1/2 way) via a reasonable road trip from Washington DC. $1340 or best non-trade deal offered.
