[1000mp] FT-1000MP failure...

Jim, I just drove by your town last Thursday on the way to Springfield.

There is a Ham on the East side of  Joliet IL (3-4 Hrs from you) that 
does very good work on the 1000mp. His name is Jack but I forgot his 
call , I will send you his phone number to your QRZ email address . He 
did a great job on my mp after I plugged the HV amp keying line into the 
wrong RCA plug.  if I remember he was reasenable too and repaired it in 
relative short time.  When I had problems with poor solder connections 
on some coils, he helped me over the phone to trouble shoot it and I was 
able fix it myself. What a guy!
