[1000mp] YAESU FT-1000MP MARK V RF POWER OUTPUT SCALE FAILURE

Hello,
I have a similar problem. At a cursory glance it appears that your antenna
Has been hit by a large ESD discharge. This destroyed the two sampling diodes for the SWR
meter that are connected directly to the antenna.

I did not have yet time to attempt to repair my unit so it is possible that the 
problem might lay somewhere else.

Check the antenna input circuitry and you'll find easily the two diodes I am talking about.

scale power.

I check with an external power meter, and the equipmet is operating with 200
watts,  therefore there is a problem or failure on the scale meter.

Also the RF POWER KNOB it is impossible to make sudenly or slow power 
increments
is 0 or jump to 150 - 200 watts.

Any experience with this problem ? and a way to solve
