Hello Brian, Mac, etc...
I believe when you push the CW button on the front panel either the LSB or
USB mode button flashes to tell the operator whether one is dialing up to
lower the received audio frequency (USB) or dialing down to adjust the
received tone..
I am not at my manual now, but there is a menu item that sets the CW
tone/offset relative to zero beating the carrier (to the best of my
knowledge)...
MAC: HNY OM - I have not seen you on the air or on line in months. Hope
all is well at your Michigan QTH...
