I still find it hard to believe that there would be this difference 
from the regular Mark V. I suggest you try a message on the yahoo 
group MMTTY. Although it is supposed to be about the MMTTY software 
application there are lots of folks there who know about all the 
digital modes and various transceivers. If you haven't used Yahoo 
Groups before, start here.
