Hi Rich,
Possible culprits:
- the switching diodes do not get the DC to switch over. - I consider this the most likely as you say none of your filters switch in.
- you have damaged the IF board when swapping or inserting filters. It is a big board and has no support in the middle while you have to press the filters with relatively large force and the board is flexible. It is adviseable to place a piece of plastic beneath the center of the board.
- the small filter panel has developed an error (cold soldering)
Just a question: do the leds of the filter selection buttons on the front plate lit up accordingly as you select the filters? Do U get the beep ? (just to check if your control board is healthy - at least to some extent)

Subject: [1000mp] Selecting CW filter - no RX
I have an interesting problem with one of my FT-1000MP Mrk V's. When I am in CW and select the NOR filter all is well for receiving. When I select NAR1 or NAR2 there is no receive. Im using a signal generator and 50uv I have S9 on 20 meters with the NOR filter selected. With NAR1 or NAR2, there is no signal. With 100uv I can just barely hear something in the receiver.
I already changed out the filters and still no RX. I also confirmed the menu setting as this was working a few weeks ago when I last used it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks...Rich
