[1000mp] problem

Hi Tom-hope you've been well-afraid I cant help with the receive but can
answer the vrf question -it does not work above 20 meters-this is normal
because it is a pre filter for strong low band signals especially 80 and 40
meter stuff-one of the little gems that isnt in manuel.I had a great chat
with a tech at yaesu back in 2004 when I bought mine and he explained this
among other things-he also said that while the company doesn't advertise
it-the 1000mp field is closer to the ft1000D on receive than the 200 watt mk
5 is  -and the ft 1000D"s receiver is ledgendary!!-hope to meet you one of

I have an FT1000MP mark5 field that has a problem with weak or no receive
when first turned on.
  When mic is tapped to activate vox, it goes to normal.PTT,rotating ATT or
togglingVRF does not work
    Another vproblem just noticed is that the VRF won,t work above 20M
     I,m thinking it is one or more relays in front-end.
      I,m hoping the LIST can help.
