[1000mp] MP sub receiver S meter level

It seems that some clear cheerleading going on here. 


Whenever somebody asks for a technical advice, some (usually the same) guys jump in and instead of answering the question, they just recommend to send to rig to X or Y rig repair service. 


This is very bad. For me AA6QQ's vested interest is very clear in his message below. This should be a paid classified and not an answer to a question.

ps to AA6QQ : If you failed to find an unplugged coax, what makes you think you should be answering technical questions here?

Byron did my radio about a year ago. I hate to take his time answering
an email and I seem to remember being able to do that in menu manipulation.
I thought I'd check to list to see if anyone else remembered. I have very
poor hearing from damage in the military years ago so I use dual receive
when I'm rag chewing. Just thought it would be nice to have them even-up
even though I can just set the main/sub gain knobs and do more or less the
same thing. Just persnickety I  guess  :~)
