[1000mp] Ft 1000mp

Yup, almost all do that, kinda makes you hold your breath until it comes on.
 When my Mark V was at Byron Cambell's, WA4GEG Electronic
Equipment Servicing,  for service last month he fixed it so that it comes on
as soon as I turn it on.
