[1000mp] VFO Reset To Bottom Of The Band

I have not seen this symptom before on an Ft1000MP(Original).

 

All of my VFO's in each band always reset to the bottom of the band.  For
example,  40 meters goes to 7.0000, 20 meters goes to 14.000 and so on.  If
I tune the VFO, turn the radio off, and then back on it all goes back to the
bottom of each band.

 

The memory banks however have still retained their programmed values. They
do not seem to be affected.

 

Any ideas?  Maybe the Lithium Battery?
