It has always been my understanding that if there is an audio tone difference between usb and lsb that the frequency is off in relation to wwv time signals. Stu, you said you heard this difference before sending the radio for repair/service-I am guesing you don't hear a difference now between usb and lsb-would that be correct---Rick ve1rnm

Just checked my FT100MP and have the same thing between USB and LSB.
My radio has just returned from being completely gone through by Byron Campbell
so you KNOW it is correct. I heard the same before I sent it to him. There is a
very definitive pitch change between the two.
Can't answer anything about signal.
