[1000mp] NO XMIT

Turns out the problem with inability to transmit was caused by the input to the RTTY din plug input.  The exact cause was further down line where a USB to Serial  converter had gone bad and was causing the RTTY unit to make the 1000MP not xmit except occasionally when it would lock up in transmit and you had to power off the radio.  Radio all okay now, just need a USB converter or install a serial card in the computer.  I have had the 1000MP for around 13 years and it is 15 years old approx and I have never had any kind of failure other than a broken solder joint on the ANT A SO239 which I was able to repair. 73  Mike K4PI
