[1000mp] ft1000mp baud rate switches?

Hello list,
This is Charlie EI8JB, I'm just trying to automate my stn here and I
have ran across some problems that I'm sure other users before me may
have had. I am aware the the rig uses a 4800 baud setting,is there
anything in the menu that I can confirm my rig is set to that rate as
I installed a couple of extra serial ports and they show up in my port
list however I cant seem to get the rig to talk to my logging program,
Logic8 for CAT freq to be used in logbook etc.

I'm using the required serial straight cable etc, any help would be appreciated.
