[1000mp] Transmit Problem

Byron is the man. I had him give my MK-V a good going-over last year at this time. He replaced a couple of relays, found an intermittent trace on the IF board, and did a thorough alignment. Radio is better than when new. I'd still be chasing the intermittent. His price is right and his communication is outstanding. You'll get an invoice with detailed description of work performed and alignment "before & after" notes. Very professional. Check his website: http://www.hamradiobug.com/index.html .

He has a pretty good way for you to estimate costs on the website. In my case, even with the unexpected intermittent, the cost was very close to what I had inferred from his website. In my opinion, sending your rig to him is a no brainer.

No connection....etc.

I heard that Byron Campbell of Electronic Equipment Service
is the man for 1000mp problems. Can any of you boys confirm
this or recommend him to work on my rig.

  Thanks
