Hello Andre,

I prefer to use the normal RF output, menu limited to max of 10W RF
output, into a transverter
for 2meters. I also use a 28 MHz IF so 28.00 = 144.00 MHz.

Using a high level IF allows the use of the transverter with many other
HF transceivers.

If I used the FT1000MP transverter output and the internal switch for
the very low level transverter
RF output, I would have to dedicate a FT-1000MP to transverter duty
ONLY.....

The 0-10W common IF of a DEMI transverter is a standard product.

The DEMI transverter compatible with the FT-1000MP transverter function
(very low IF power output), is a special DEMI option.
