It is not as difficult as it seems to be at the first sight. If you have a
step-by-step instruction and you work carefully it should be possible.

Hi Garry, and thanks for the response. 

I did check for this, trying the antenna on A or B per the selection, 
and also selecting "RX" and putting the antenna on "RX IN". No go -- the 
discontinuity must be beyond the relay that selects the "RX IN" 
connector.  The next point to try on would be where it goes through the 
LP filter, but that's buried someplace under the PA assembly, and I just 
don't feel competent to take that apart without risk of damage, so I 
think I'll see if one of the repair guys will take it on.  Thanks again 
for responding!
