[1000mp] Repair of FT-1000MP MKV

Hi all,

Came home from vacation to find that my faithful FT1000MP has a problem 
in the receive circuit, at or near to the antenna connection.  I hear 
background noise on receive, and even a couple of very faint birdies on 
40m, but there's no sign of any external signal and connecting an 
antenna does not increase the b/g noise at all, no static, nada.  Same 
symptom either A or B, either receiver.  It's just like the antenna is 
disconnected at the antenna jack.  I had the loose-wire-from-the-jack 
problem on ant. A at one time, but I re-soldered the joint and had no 
further trouble.  Anybody have any idea what this might be?  Is there 
any kind of fusing or protection in the antenna input circuitry that 
might have blown?
