[1000mp] Filters

Stu,

     We each have our preferences.  I use FSK (not AFSK) with my FT-1000MP
MK V and do a lot of RTTY contesting and DX chasing.  I have a pair of
cascaded 500Hz filters and a pair of cascaded 250 Hz filters.  I almost
always the 250 Hz filters which improves the S/N ratio and cuts out most of
the QRM.

I've been going through the archives reading about filter choices to see
what most have done. I haven't found much information about RTTY filter
choices for contesting. My new to me FT1000MP will arrive this week and I
would like to get it loaded and ready.

Any suggestions?
