Are you running FSK or AFSK? For FSK using the RTTY plug, if memory serves,
you just need to connect it to a PTT circuit made in a DB9 or 25 shell and
connect it to a com port on your computer. You will also need to have the AF
out pin go to the mic in on your computer soundcard, or whatever you are
using to decode. This would use the RTTY button on the font panel.
For AFSK you use the Packet jack (5 pin din). In this case, you will need
one cable to go to a PTT com port and the other cable goes to the sound
card. "Data in" goes to the sound card output and "data out" goes to the
soundcard mic input.
Your other alternative is to get a USB Signalink which is an outboard
soundcard. Pre-made cables are also available. I just ordered one yesterday
to experiment with.
If you need a schematic for the PTT circuit I have a pdf file I can email
you directly later this evening when I get back from work.
