[1000mp] Shutle jog on MK v Feild

Hello George:

Disconnect your microphone and see if the problem persists.

Sometimes a short at the microphone connector, or a bad up/down microphone switch can cause this problem.

My Mark V Field started scanning down today,

I can control the problem with the Shuttle Jog and my question? 
Bad contacts on shuttle jog down or dirty contacts?
Has anyone had this problem on a Mk v Field?
