When you do get the bill, you'll have a HIGHLY detailed accounting of 
everything that was done, including specific alignment steps, etc.  A few 
years ago,when a local ham became no longer capable of using his gear (sad 
story), his XYL, preparing to liquidate, sent an FT-1000D to Byron for 
repair, alignment, etc. When she showed me the invoice, I made a mental note 
that this is where I will send my rig whenever it gets beyond my capability 
to repair. You can argue that detailed invoices might not have a direct 
correlation with repair quality; but usually, when a guy has one corner of 
his operation under control, there's a strong probability that he has his 
act together everywhere else. The converse, unfortunately, is also true...
