[1000mp] FT1000MP sidetone problem

Clue to solution came from iv3esv. 
Rig was modified new by supplier to run from 13.8v DC, I have never used it on AC. 
Plugged it into the 235v AC mains and problem disappeared. 
Have yet to determine whether this is RF getting into the DAIWA DC lead, or the PSU is faulty
