I sugest  you set the level so that you get the same S meter on the VFO B as VFO A on the same freq.

    First, thanks to all who replied to my hidden menu query.

    I've installed an Inrad roofing filter.  What are the recommendations for setting
    the receiver IF gain for use with this?  I think that the gain is supposed to be
    slightly reduced but I do not know the factory setting and suspect that the
    gain in my unit has been reset by a prior owner.
