Hello Jerry,

Thank you for your sugestion..

After some days work on the radio, I have found the problem!

The 25MHz resonator that generate the clock in the radio CPU became out of
frequency.

The radio CPU "talk" to the tunner CPU via serial, and the baud-rate are
wrong because this resonator is out of frequency.

Using a frequency counter I found 24.21MHz.

After change the resonator for a new one, the counter shows 24.98MHz and the
tuner start to work very fine again.

I have returned the old resonator to the radio and check again. The problem
came again, the tuner stop to work, confirming that the resonatos are the
cause.

Thank you and to all friends that have send me sugestions to fix this
problem.

Regards,
Marcus - PP5MS
