I believe sound card calibration can be a problem.

Either MMTTY or one of the PSK31 software packages discusses this in the help files.

    Hello
I trying to use PKT Mark5 Field. The trouble I am having is get the Rec. signal the same as the Tx signal there is a discrepancy of 65 hz.So when I call PKT Stn I get no response I found out that the tx freq. is 65hz low.I have use the mic. socket and the Data socket at the back of the rig same result. I have fiddled with menu 8-9 and 8-6 when using the socket at the back of the rig to avail. The only way I can get contact is to use the sub V.F.O.or clarifier on T.x.
Any ideas why the difference in freq please.and how to overcome the problem.
