[1000mp] Band Data Jack

That is the band data jack.

The other respondent is correct. There is a 262 degree version and a 270 
degree version and they are NOT compatible. You can get the right plug 
from Yaesu itself, as well as other sources, whom you can find on the 
web. Try googling "8 pin DIN".
