[1000mp] (no subject)

Greetings!  I just recently purchased a FT1000MP MKV.  It seems the meter in the swr setting isn't working.  It shows 1.1 all the time no matter where I am in the band.  When I am in a section where the swr would be high the Hi SWR light comes on, but the SWR meter still shows 1.1  Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong?  Is there some setting I just haven't found yet that I need to change?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
