Greetings all,
 
The output power control on my 12 year old 1000MP is very touchy.  The controls swings from 7 o'clock to 5 o'clock but full power out is at about 10 o'clock.  Is there a modification/ repair for this issue?
 
I also am now seeing that my radio must warm up a bit to get full output power.  Is this an age issue on the components?  Has anybody seen this problem?  Thank you all.
