Just a point of interest.  Keep in mind that you also need a good antenna
system to go along with a great radio.  It makes no sense to dump a few
grand into a rig and attach a mediocre antenna system to it.  Spend big
bucks(if you can) on and good antenna setup.

I also belong to the IC756ProIII reflector and although this is just an
estimate without details, many there have done side by side comparisons,
ProIII vs FT2000 and ended up selling their Yaesu.
Of course the bottom line is you use whatever you are happy with even
though it may not be the best rig for your application.

I think we've probably used up the goodwill of the list by now, so we 
should let this drop.

My expectations of the FT-2000 and Yaesu are clearly different than 
yours. While my FT2K isn't perfect, I'm happy that I replaced my Mark V 
Field with it. You're happy with your MPs, which is fine, they're nice
rigs.

I'll agree to disagree with you.
