[1000mp] possible 1000MP upgrade

 Each to their own, but when everything is said and done:

I cant tell you how many more DX stations hear me after getting my FT1000MP MKV (200W). 

Double the power makes a big difference if you enjoy Dxing and/or any level of Contesting. My IC-775DSP had 200W output, but not
near the Rx and it would be awfully hard to go back to 100W after experiencing 200W.

It is well worth the upgrade if your a Dx'er.

If you just like rag chewing, or digital comm, guess it wouldn't matter much. Many do and that is another great part of our hobby.
Nothing wrong with that, I just happen to enjoy chasing that rare one on the unknown territory at the far edge of the earth :)
