[1000mp] SWR Problems with Mk-V Field

Bob,

I am guessing that the total length between the rig and the tuner is 
about 10ft, 3 different lengths, one is 2ft to a LPF, 3FT from the LPF 
to the amp and 5ft from the amp to the tuner.   I used RG8 for all, RG58 
should be OK.  If your using one of those pre-made cables like you can 
buy at Radio shack throw them away.  Maybe good for CBer's but not 
hams.  I learned that those cables leave allot to be desired.

What the FT is seeing is the swr between the tuner and the rig, the 
tuner is seeing whats between the tuner and the antenna, you should 
expect some differences.
