[1000mp] FT-1000mp High SWR reading problem

When I try to transmit with the FT-1000mp, the rig tells me there is an
infinite SWR reading.  When I try to engage the internal antenna tuner,
the tuner engages and the quickly disengages, again showing an infinite
SWR.

The have done the ATU memory reset that I have seen mentioned on the
internet, and the antenna's are resonant.

I have replaced the wounded FT-1000mp with another mp that I own, and
the 2nd mp is working just fine.

Any help would be appreciated.
