[1000mp] Antenna relays

FWIW, and to dispel the notion that Solution #2 might be the culprit in
nearly all cases:

In my case, the problem first appeared while on DXpedition, with a radio
that had been used for about a half year at home and was still in
warranty. It occurred with two different antennas on different bands. It
continued to occur after reinstallation in the home shack after the
DXpedition, until it was sent to Yaesu, and was returned home after the
repair. That rules out the antenna.
