[1000mp] Other issues

I have just discovered another problem when using the dual receiver function
of the Ft1000MP MKV.

e.g. when listening on 50.110 (28.110) the International Call channel via
the FTV1000 transverter.
If the Sub VFO is set on 49.750 Russian and Chinese TV carriers (27.750)
VFO A clobbers VFO/SUB B RX with a solid S 9 signal.

The reverse does not occur when you flip A to B.

I am beginning to understand why the transvereter idea died a death with
yaesu.

I can but imagine a new owner in the late 1990's paying over $US5000 for
this combo to monitor F2 on the 6M band only to find nagging faults in the
design like carriers in band.

Even now $4500 out of pocket I am tending to use my older 6M system and only
use the fabulous receiver on the FTV1000 when the rare dx comes in like P29
and T31 this week.

I am about to sell my Mark 1 for $1500 a loss of $500 in less than a month
due to the terrible 25 meg design fault.
I cannot use that receiver or turn it on in the 6M season as it jams the 6M
window with the large carrier.

The Ft1000MP MKV has same problem and I MUST take out the key and mike but
when listening on earphones an S9 carrier is on top of the VK6 or KH6 beacon
channels.
