I agree buy a 6 meter radio if you really want 6M. Yaesu had a few design flaws with the FT1000MP and the biggest one was the CW key click issue. SIgnal's generated out of the band range of the radio I can see missing but to mess up on the signal quality of what you are generating is really bad.
