[1000mp] Frequency shift on 1000MP when setting transverter.

Hi All
Well final got the FT1000MPMKV.
Set up the FTV1000.
Works fine.
PROBLEMS:
If you use the suggested procedure on page 9 of the FTV1000 book and in the 
FT1000MP handbook where you change the pre MHZ to read 50. the radio jumps 
24 kHz down so 50.110 (28.110) is found at 50.074.
It only occurs when you set the transverter menu in position 3-3 to read 
other than OFF.
How can it change the VFO if its only cosmetic?
Any ideas?
