There is a menu item that will boost the IF amplifier
signal voltage to compensate for the insertion
of the filter.
Call or e-mail Inrad. They might even have it on
the website. It's an easy adjustment, in the hidden menu.

Subject: [1000mp] Faulty roofing filter mod?
Hi,
I have INRAD fooring filters installed on both of my MP-s. They both sounded much quiter after installing a few years ago. Recently one of them became very insenitive and no signals ever came in over 59 any more. So I tried to remove the roofing filter and indeed! Signals went up some 40 db or so! Can it be that roofing filter is damaged? has it happened to anybody? Should I try to get a new one or sth else could be done?
