[1000mp] FP-29 Yaesu Switching Power Supply

Gerry,
Had the same problem also.  It went to Yaesu twice and they finally  
threw in the towel and gave me a new one.
I had a friend look at it and we replaced a diode.  It worked for  
awhile and then acted up.
Its a fairly complicated circuit with a lot of feedback networks that  
make troubleshooting difficult.
Wish I could offer more help.
