[1000mp] Which 8 Pin DIN plug?

I need to buy an 8 pin DIN plug for the band data connector on my 
FT-1000. I just learned that there are two kinds, one which has a 270 
degree pin spread and another which has a 262 degree pin spread. 
Universal Radio refers to the 262 degree version as the Kenwood type. 
Every place I've found that has both types has a higher price for the 
262 degree type, suggesting that it is less commonly used. Which one is 
used on the FT-1000? Thanks!
